TechIDManager has successfully completed our SOC 2 Type I audit.
For our partners, this represents more than another compliance badge. It demonstrates that the controls, policies, and security practices we’ve built into our organization have been independently evaluated and found to be designed effectively to protect customer data.
What is SOC 2 Type I?
SOC 2 is an independent auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates an organization’s security controls against established Trust Services Criteria.
A Type I report verifies that an organization’s security controls are properly designed at a specific point in time. It confirms that the policies, procedures, and technical safeguards necessary to protect customer information are in place.
What This Means for Our Customers
MSPs are trusted with privileged access to hundreds—or even thousands—of customer environments. That trust extends to the vendors they choose.
At Ruffian Software, we believe security isn’t something you simply claim. It should be demonstrable.

What’s Next
SOC 2 compliance is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time achievement.
While completing our SOC 2 Type I audit is an important milestone, we’re already focused on the next step. Ruffian Software is actively working toward SOC 2 Type II, which evaluates not only the design of our security controls but also their operating effectiveness over an extended period.
As we continue to strengthen our security program, our goal remains the same: to provide MSPs with privileged access management they can trust, backed by transparent, independently validated security practices.
